Communicate!

May is my favourite month of the year, and so I thought I’d use it to launch my new communication initiative. In an ideal world, I’d like to be able to tell each of you In person what I get up to and the exciting things that happen in the youth work world, but as that’s not always possible, I thought this would be the next best thing. Each month I’ll write a short ‘diary’ piece that will hopefully keep you informed and fully up-to-date and also include some points for prayer. There will be copies in church, a large version on the youth work notice boards, and it will also appear in the magazine – phew!

May is busy, so briefly this is what we’re up to; this month sees us off to Alton Towers for a Christian concert called the Ultimate Event on the 5th, the youth service ‘Imagine’ on the 25th in Wendover, Wyred retreat days over half term and also a 21 Cent social outing, and with the launch of Alive@10 on the 6th, it looks to be an exciting month. On Sundays, 21 Cent will be getting to grips with Daniel and Wyred will be taking on the challenge of Revelation... I’ll let you know how it goes!

Please pray for the young people as the exam season starts, for safe travel to Alton Towers, and for me, that amid the busy times I’ll keep up-to-date with day to day things and my own spiritual life. God bless, Lizzie x x
