Youth and Children's Work in our Parish

The children are escorted up to the Church in time for communion, where they can rejoin their parents. Don't worry, if you are not in Church, we will look after them, until you pick them up after the service.

On their 14th birthday, the children can join Wyred, our main youth group.

There are lots of exciting new developments happening in our Youth work, including;

• A Re-launch of the group previously known as 21Cent, now newly renamed by the young people themselves as REACH - ‘Religious Education And Christian Help’, and this has a new logo, also designed by the young people (on an iPad!), shown below

  

  REACH is open to girls and boys from school years 5-8 (ie ages 9-13), and will meet during the church services on the 2nd and 3rd Sundays of the month.

• RESOUND
  St Peter & St Paul's Junior Singing Club

  An exciting singing club for children, now meets every Wednesday at the Church during term-time, from 4:30pm - 5:30pm

  Our new conductor is Jo McNally, Vocal Animateur for the British Federation of Youth Choirs and the Borough of Harrow, and an experienced editor of music publications for beginner choirs, including OUP's Young Voiceworks and Novello's Junior Choral Club.

  Resound offers opportunities for fun and fellowship with regular rehearsal and performance dates. Great Missenden Church Wednesdays at 4.30pm
