25 July 2010 Repair Fund In the first week since the Urgent Repair fund leaflets were dropped around the parish, more than £1000 has been donated! An excellent start and great to see the whole community getting behind the campaign. Neta and David would still like to hear from anyone who can organise an event for the fund. It could be a car boot sale, a sponsored walk, a formal dinner or anything you can think of.

29 January 2010 St. Mary's Ballinger fund raising with Waitrose
We are still continuing to raise funds to keep St. Mary's in good shape. St. Mary's is one of three local causes included by Waitrose Chesham in January’s Community Matters. If you shop at Waitrose, please would you pick up a green token and put it in for St. Mary's? If you don't mind asking friends and family to do the same that would be fantastic. Thank you!
12 January 2010 Thank you for your Generosity!
People have been wonderfully generous this Christmas time - despite a tough year we are able to give away £3,500 to our 5 designated charities and another £376 to the Children’s Society. THANK YOU! (Elizabeth Costello)
12 January 2010 A Note from Nadine Rose, the previous Pastoral Assistant
FROM NADINE ROSE After a great deal of thought and prayer I have made the decision to move on from my position as Pastoral Assistant. I believe God gives us gifts to use for various purposes and that these gifts do change throughout your life. I am, therefore, going to pursue an exciting new project, more about that later! I feel very privileged to have held this position for the last five years. At times it has certainly been challenging but also extremely rewarding. I do hope I have made a difference to those I have walked with in their times of need. Just because I am standing down from my position does not mean you’ve got rid of me! When needed and if possible I’ll be around to help the Church Family. Now to tell you about an exciting new project which has come my way - I will be launching a company which can help you to create your dream home, anything from architectural design through to soft furnishings. Using my newly acquired skills! (Elizabeth Costello)
