Wyred trip to Uganda - 2012

Members of Wyred (our youth group for 14 to 18 years olds) are trying to raise money to make it possible for them to visit Africa, and to work there, to help to improve the lives of those they meet.
There will be a series of fund raising events in aid of this cause, and details of these, as well as background information about the project will appear here.

After Helen and Will completed their marathon stationary bike ride outside the church on Sunday, they had covered over 300 miles between them, and the amount raised so far comes to a magnificent £715 - you can see a couple of pictures here

Wyred have set up a special arrangement with Webb Ivory - this is a Christmas catalogue, where if you order through Wyred using the forms available here or from church, Wyred will receive 25% of your order value, at no additional cost to you. You can find the Webb Ivory catalogue through this link, but please place your order only using the special Wyred forms, or Wyred won't get any benefit at all!

The form has two pages - the first is the basic order form, the second page is only needed if you order any items which you want personalised. Please print out order forms as needed from the link above, or pick up a paper copy from church and return as indicated on the forms. If you need any further information, please email Wyred.

The first event, was “Come dine with Wyred” - which took place on the 28th May at the Oldham Hall, and involved the Wyred team cooking and serving a three-course meal to 50 guests.

The evening was a great success, raising more than £1,300 - many thanks to all involved
