Explorers

Fun ways to learn about God is what this group for 7-9 year olds is about. Activities are based on a Bible reading each week and geared to encourage this age group to develop their own attitudes towards God and the wider community.

At the age of 10 the children progress to 21 Cent, our junior youth group. 21 Cent meet every Sunday, apart form the 1st in every month in the school (Great Missenden Combined). 21 Cent enjoy a broad range of activities, including creative prayer sessions and games as well as learning more about their faith in a relaxed atmosphere. As with Junior Church , 21 Cent rejoin the parents for the end of the service. Every half term a social is planned which can be anything from bowling to wide games, BBQ’s or the cinema.

For 14+, our youth group, known as Wyred, meet on a Sunday evening each week for a variety of activities and regular youth-led services. Recently, Wyred have taken part in both a local mission project in Amersham and an international one in Mexico . Wyred also attend the ‘Soul Survivor’ youth conference each summer, as well as numerous socials throughout the year.
