Welcome

We are an active Church of England Parish located in rural South Buckinghamshire. We have three Churches: St Peter & St Paul, Great Missenden, is the Parish Church. St Mary's Ballinger and Little Hampden Church are small churches serving their local village communities.

Our Church family includes a wide variety of people and this is reflected in the diversity of our worship. There is also a lot going on during the rest of the week. There are house groups where friendships are formed and there is bible study and prayer. We put great emphasis on our Youth Work with a youth worker and a well established Sunday School and crèche. There is also a full programme of activities for all ages and tastes.

Our teaching is grounded in the Bible; we love liturgy, the sacraments and music in our worship. It is our aim that all we do is genuinely relevant to modern men and women and that they feel part of a caring family and encounter something of the trans-forming love of Jesus Christ in our midst.

As a response to God's generosity people are very generous with their time, their talents and their money and because of this we have a vibrant Church community in which everyone plays their part. We are also able to host many events such as concerts which are part of the life of this village.
